The Minister of Energy discusses with his Egyptian counterpart to improve cooperation in the field of electricity

The Minister of Energy, engineer of Al -Mu'tasim Ibrahim, with his Egyptian counterpart, discussed means of improving cooperation between the two countries in the field of electricity. This came during a meeting that gathered them in Cairo, in the presence of a certain number of officials on both sides.

For his part, the Minister thanked Egypt for its role in the support of Sudan during the last period, especially in the energy field. He stressed the importance of continuing cooperation between the two countries, in particular in the field of electrical connection and renewable energies. He also stressed the importance of benefiting from the Egyptian experience in this area.

The Minister stressed the importance of continuing cooperation between the two countries in the field of training and qualification executives and the exchange of experiences in the field of energy policies.

For his part, the Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energies welcomed the Sudanese delegation, stressing the will of Egypt to cooperate with Sudan in various fields.

While Ambassador Imad Adawi, the Sudanese ambassador to Cairo, stressed the need to include the private sector in cooperation between the two countries, in particular in the reconstruction of Khartoum. He stressed the importance of taking advantage of the results of the Sudanese-Egyptian business forum, which was held in Cairo last week.
