The Center for Research on Oncology and Cancer from the University Shendi receives the Federal Minister of Health, accompanied by the delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency
The Shendi Cancer and Cancer Research Center received on Sunday morning September 2, 2025 after JC. The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim Ali, who visited the center accompanied by the delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency visiting the Center in order to assess the efficiency of radiotherapy, nuclear medicine devices and diagnostic radiology devices in the center in order to develop IT and provide possibilities to train them.
He was received at the center, Dr. Hassan Awad Al -karim, University Director, Dr. Nasser Muhammad Othman, University Deputy, Dr. Awad Al -Tayeb, Center director, Dr. Abdullah Fadil, Director of the Faculty of Mak Nimr, Dr Zuhair Muhammad Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Docalors, specialists, Researchs and two meetings.
The Minister of Health addressed a meeting which included the delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency and Center workers in the presence of a certain number of Departments of Departments of the Federal Health of Health of the State State
Where the Minister expressed his welcome to the delegation, pointing to the suffering facing cancer patients during the war period.
The Minister confirmed the total commitment of the State to patients with cancer, explaining that the objective of the delegation's visit is to restore these services according to a technical and scientific vision, with the need to coordinate to make the project a success.
He also referred to previous meetings with the management of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria, according to this visit, as well as Sudan joined the radiological initiative adopted by the Agency
The Minister undertook to work with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to download the cooperation agreement signed on coordination in the administration of university hospitals for the reality of reality.
