Integrated efforts to advance tourism and culture in Dandar and its national reserve

In a targeted decision to strengthen the tourism and culture sectors, officials of the locality of the Dandar and its national reserve announced ambitious plans to modernize the attractive tourist and cultural sites. Deputy Executive Director of the Locality of Al-Dandar, Imran Mohamed Yahya, stressed the importance of the Dandar reserve as one of the most important tourist sites in the region.

Yahya underlined in his statements that efforts are underway to modernize the barn and create an attractive environment for tourists, expressing his hope that Dandar will be a bridge to tourism in Sennar, and he drew attention to efforts to establish a seed bank to preserve the endangered plant species, highlighting all their disposition with various sectors to achieve the desired objectives.

Abu Al -Qasim explained that the Committee was making field visits to archaeological and tourist sites to collect precise and realistic information. The objective is to submit a detailed report for decision -makers, which allows them to take the necessary measures to allow the departments of tourism and culture to direct the required development movement.

For his part, the director of the Department of Culture of the State of Sennar Abdel Karim Ary, the importance of launching an effective cultural movement to fill bankruptcy in the social fabric and stimulating the theatrical movement. He added that culture will be the right hand to promote the reserve, noting that there are upcoming cultural programs aimed at removing the shock and alleviating war.

In the same context, the deputy director of the State Tourism Department, Kamal Saleh, said that the administration is carrying out precise provisions to benefit from tourism as a solid economic resource, stressing that the Dandar reserve is a national and global wealth.

Speaking of the security situation of the reserve, the director of the national reserve of Dennd, Colonel Ahmed Abdullah Ali, explained that the militia was not able to reach the national reserve and that the last point they have reached is a distance between 80 and 90 km. He stressed that damage to certain large animals were in animal folding in the dandar.

Colonel Ali revealed that the reserve is faced with stoves from the local population and the fauna police to implement the laws to protect them. He stressed that it was planned to maintain offices, inns and cages in the city, and to design a system similar to the zoo.

The reserve director added that they were trying to launch a website for the reserve to promote it, stressing the importance of monitoring rare and threatened trees such as the path, the Drut and the Sispian and a plan to preserve them by agriculture.

Abdel -Malik Mahjoub of the Tourism Department, referring to the ten reserves of the biological environment, called for the involvement of international organizations and local communities to protect the barn thanks to development projects for the population.

The director of the reserve concluded his speech by referring to efforts to fight against unfair trees in cooperation with FAO, which aims to provide water and pastures to residents of the areas surrounding the barn, in order to ensure continuity.
