Enlightened sources have told Al -Sudani that the Prime Minister of Sudan, Dr. Kamel Idris, will officially join the high -level delegation towards New York to participate in the 80s of the United Nations General Assembly, scheduled for next September.

The inclusion of Idris, according to information obtained by “Sudanese Al -rai”, is delivered with a direct recommendation from the head of the sovereign council, Lieutenant -General Abdel -Fattah Al -Burhan, who stressed the need to attend the sudden delegation to the United Nations.

The Sudanese delegation is managed by the first team, and the director of the general intelligence service includes Lieutenant-General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Gabriel Ibrahim, and the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Omar Siddiq.

The sources have revealed that the delegation will carry a strategic program which includes very important files:

Improve political stability in Sudan

Support the national economy in challenges

Presentation of the humanitarian crisis resulting from internal conflicts and regional interventions

Sudan seeks, according to the same sources, to invest this international forum to transmit direct messages on what has been described as “regional assault” to which the country is exposed, and to highlight the developments of the accelerated internal situation, in addition to calling international support which contributes to containing the economic and humanitarian crisis.

It is expected that IDRIS plays a central role in bilateral meetings with the leaders of countries and international missions, as well as its participation in official sessions, which strengthens the presence of Sudan in a platform which is most international in terms of political and media influence.

The General Assembly takes place this year in the light of the climbing of global crises, including climate change, the food security crisis and regional conflicts, which made Sudan participation at that time a pivot to restore diplomatic positioning and obtain political and economic support.
