A high federal delegation visit the locality of Dabba and launches initiatives to support the move

In the context of national efforts to promote the humanitarian response, the locality of Dabba in the North State, today, on Thursday September 18, 2025, received a high -level federal delegation during a field visit aimed at identifying humanitarian conditions and launching direct support initiatives for the displaced in the premises.

The delegation included Professor Salwa Adam Bennah, Federal Humanitarian Commissioner, Dr. Wael Mohamed Sharif, Commissioner of Humanitarian aid in the State, Professor Manal Makkawi, Minister of Social Affairs in the North State, alongside Mayor Taher Adam, general coordinator of the Darfur government, and a number of officials and representatives of humanitarian work organizations.

The delegation was received by Monsters Customs, executive director of the locality of Dabba, Mr. Muhammad Saber Kashkash, as well as the local assistance commissioner, director of administrative affairs, director of the administrative bear unit and members of the emergency and crisis committee.

In his speech during the reception, Professor Muhammad Saber Koukash, executive director of the locality of Al -Dabba, praised the delegation on visit, stressing that this visit has a great humanitarian service and sends an important solidarity message to the local population and declared:

We strongly appreciate the presence and delegation of the federal commissioner.

For his part, Professor Salwa Adam Bennah, Federal Humanitarian Commissioner, explained that his visit intervenes in a tour which includes the States of the Nile and the North River, in order to assess the humanitarian situation and to ensure that the relief has reached its beneficiaries, adding:

The Dabba locality is one of the most displaced areas during the recent period, and the help directly targets this segment. We thank the humanitarian partners, led by the King Salman Center and an additional organization.

She underlined the need for justice in distribution, noting that some of the displaced people reside in the citizens' homes:

“Help must also be included, because it is a human and moral duty.”

As for Professor Manal Makkawi, Minister of Social Affairs in the State of the North, she confirmed that the locality of Dabba embraces a large number of displaced people, noting the importance of continuing to support the centers of shelter and to provide basic services, and she said:

We are committed to providing support, and we coordinate with all the authorities concerned to meet the needs of displaced and host communities. “”

For her part, Professor Sarah Yahya Omar, director of the Northern State Organization Office, announced the inauguration of the new stage of the food support program funded by the King Salman Center, confirming:

This program targets the most needy groups in the locality and is implemented in partnership with Humanitarian Aid Commission to ensure that it reaches its beneficiaries. “”

In the same context, Professor Kawthar Qilililili, the coordinator of humanitarian aid in the locality of Dabba, confirmed that the Commission was working in full coordination with organizations and supporters, noting continuous efforts to provide support without discrimination, in the various areas of accommodation in the locality and added:

We are in constant communication with the humanitarian authorities, and we do what we can serve the displaced on all the sites, monsters of the cast iron in Zamzam and others.

* Official meeting and field tour *

After the reception ceremony, an official meeting took place at the office of the Executive Director, which was devoted to the examination of emergency reports and the humanitarian situation linked to the growing number of displaced people from the States of Darfur and Kordofan, where the local emergency committee made a complete presentation of the challenges facing the region in the fields of health, services and logistics.

The visit program also included a refuge's field visit to “Hosh Melt”, where the delegation closely resisted the situation, and listened to the complaints and needs of the displaced, in the light of the serious shortage of food, care and basic services.

The visit was concluded by emphasizing the commitment of the delegation to continue humanitarian support and to intensify efforts in the field, as well as expanding the scope of partnerships with local and international humanitarian organizations, guaranteeing the sustainability of aid and reaching the most affected groups.
