A delegation from the World Health Organization Visit the headquarters of the National Fund for medical supply to Port Sudan

A delegation of experts in the Regional Office of the World Health Organization for the Eastern Mediterranean visited the headquarters of the National Fund for Medical Supply at the Sudan Port, as part of its visit to Sudan to support the construction of the national health strategy.
The delegation held a meeting with the supreme committee of the fund managed by the director general, where the national strategy of the medical supply chain announced by the fund in August 2024 with the support of the World Health Organization was discussed, and the main objectives he included in order to achieve the recovery and reconstruction after the departure of the war.
The delegation also resisted the most important challenges that the fund is faced and how to compile it with the objectives of the national strategy of the Federal Ministry of Health, in a way that contributes to the strengthening of the health sector in Sudan.
And Dr. Badruddin al-Jazouli, director general of the fund, the big role played by the World Health Organization and its continuous support in order to strengthen the drug supply system and build a solid health system in the country at the post-war stadium.
